Here we have listed some of the awards we have received over the years. We say thanks to all of those in the beer loving community who have voted for us and put us forward for nomination.
We also appreciate the work and dedication of all the CAMRA branches and their volunteers who arrange beer festivals up and down the country.
Great news!
It has just been announced that our Undertakers Varnish double stout @ 8% was voted best beer at the 2024 South Downs Beer & Cider Festival in Lewes, East Sussex.
This is a special award indeed as there were so many great beers in show. We will be showcasing Undertakers Varnish again at our annual October Festival on Saturday 19th October.
Undertakers Varnish is a sweet double mashed stout with notes of caramel, bourbon biscuit and a soft bitter finish.
Most encouraging is this malty, creamy style of beer seems to be making a comeback in a world of lemon and mango west coasty overload!
