Kissingate Brewery started life at our private address in Crawley, West Sussex. After years of hobby brewing and dreaming about starting a business of our own we decided to tentatively give it a go. We purchased a small American brewing system and located it in our garage. We brewed our first test batch of 'Old Tale' Porter on 23rd September 2009. In April 2010 we were officially registered as a commercial brewery and with planning consent and other permissions granted we began the Kissingate journey.

After just a few months brewing from home we found ourselves running out of space so we decided to seek premises elsewhere. In September 2010 we were lucky enough to find a suitable unit on Church Lane Farm Estate in Lower Beeding near Horsham.

In February 2012 we moved into our present address the Pole Barn which is just a few yards away across the road!

We now have a much bigger brewing system and in 2018 we extended the Pole Barn and built Kissingate's delightful taproom.

We are now very much the hub of the local Mannings Heath and Lower Beeding communities. However we have many regulars from Monks Gate, Warninglid, Copsale, Nuthurst, Maplehurst, Horsham, Crawley and beyond.
