Welcome to the Kissingate Brewery. Here you will find the most delicious hand crafted ales using the best ingredients combined with our skill and passion for replicating beers from times gone by. We are fascinated by the cultures and techniques of ‘cottage’ brewing which flourished throughout the late middle ages up until the early 1800’s. These were the days when there could be several brewers or brewster’s within just a few square miles, all producing ales according to local taste and demand.

 

At Kissingate we are inspired by the past but think deeply about the future.

Of course, the county of Sussex is steeped in brewing history and today we are served by some of the most outstanding breweries in England.  We are just proud to be here and part of the modern microbrewing community.
